SAP is updated in real-time and business rule errors from SAP are shown to the Salesforce user. Pain points
- Their food quality analysers are high-tech machines that are installed into the food production lines at their customers.
- Their products are highly configurable and thus it was hard to ensure configurations are valid, complete and correctly passed from quotation to sales order to production and to the invoice.
- Planning service appointments as well as the invoicing of parts and time was inefficient and error prone.
Solution
- Quotes are configured in Salesforce CPQ based on SAP variant configuration rules and pricing conditions. They are guaranteed to be valid, complete and available as promised.
