Vigience - The SaaS Solution Designers
Some of the first SAP patents in what was to become known as the SaaS space were written by current Vigience
members. Our offering covers a broad spectrum from developing SaaS solutions
based on SAP ERP to writing applications for and extending Salesforce.com.
From the very beginning Vigience has been providing a variety
of SaaS solutions to our global customers. For example:
"On Premise" SaaS
A Fortune 500 company based in the US wants to harmonize the way its subsidiaries
US-wide interact with its key customers. The key to that franchise model is a shared
services solutions with a common IT backbone: the inhouse SaaS solution for 100+ subsidiaries.
SaaS Applications
Vigience produces Application Concepts and Application Products for a second Fortune
500 company that wants to provide a brand-new application service over a variety
of devices talking to various backend systems such as Oracle, SAP, Siebel or Salesforce.com.
PaaS: Platform-as-a-Service
A third Fortune 500 company commissioned Vigience to architect and prototype
a SaaS platform ++. This platform is designed to allow Vigience's customer to provide
service solutions on top of a next-generation SaaS platform and thus undercut their
competitors in price and overdeliver in functionality. SaaS is a reality even in
the "Build to Order" consulting business.
