The Vigience Smartphone solutions (BlackBerry, Windows Mobile) for enterprise systems
such as SAP, Salesforce.com, Siebel, etc. were developed by request of some of the
world's leading TelCo's. These solutions enable world-leading consultancies to manage
their consultants' time and expenses in real-time and their sales cycle from quotation-to-cash
for example.
Vigience SmartPhone Solutions - The Difference
Vigience managed to successfully separate the client application data model to a
large degree from the backend data. As such, we have managed to take an SAP mobile
integrated application and connect it to Salesforce.com with no change!
A resulting and quite unique characteristic of this is also that Vigience SmartPhone
solutions do not require any change to the backend system (e.g. by importing new
function modules to SAP) and work entirely within the existing standard API set.
This means that fully functional applications can be installed within hours onto
an existing SAP instance without the need for custom BAPIs/parameter adjustments
(and thus a re-testing of the entire SAP system is avoided).
Vigience solutions also fully integrate system-of-record master data including customizing
settings of business rules, such as those associated with filling in an expense
sheet. Therefore, changing a business rule parameter in the backend SAP ERP/CRM
system will automatically be reflected in the application's behaviour without any
further modification.
It is the subtle differences such as these that have a large impact on the cost
of implementing and running a mobile solution!
Vigience Time & Expense (TXP)
Vigience TXP
was originally designed for mobile SAP CATS and Expense Management data entry which
executes customizing settings from the server also on the mobile devices. Later,
it was ported to the Salesforce.com platform and a small platform application was
added for business managers to approve entries and analyze them. A side benefit
of the Salesforce.com port was that employees could continue their time and expense
processing from any PC. Other backend integrations are offered upon request.
Vigience TXP is available for Windows Mobile and BlackBerry devices.
Vigience CRM Sales Companion (CRMSales)
Vigience CRMSales
is originally designed for SAP CRM but is now also offered for other backend applications
too. It provides remote access to the standard CRM features: accounts, contacts,
opportunities, and activities.
Vigience CRMSales is available for Windows Mobile and BlackBerry devices.
Vigience Field Service
Vigience Field Service is targeted at the service technician that requires information
on which service orders to process and can report work completed back.
Due to the many differences in business process specifics (internal / external services;
ERP vs. CRM based service, etc.), Vigience Field Service is available on a build
to order basis.

Vigience Workflow
Vigience Workflow is designed for the busy executive hooked on the BlackBerry or
the Windows Mobile based Smartphone. Workflows are pushed to the mobile device for
immediate viewing, approval or rejection
Due to the many differences in business process specifics (such as the object of
approval as well as the workflow engine of choice), Vigience Workflow is available
on a build to order basis.
